NKU Catholic Newman Club

Welcome to the Catholic Newman Club at Northern Kentucky University!

Website Under Construction

Our old site has been around for many years, and while it was helpful at one point, it has not aged well and no longer works properly. We're working on creating a new and updated website, and we hope to have it ready by late June or early July. In the meantime, we've put up a temporary page to help give you a brief overview of our club.

Feel free to contact us with any questions or comments at newmanclub@nku.edu (We promise to check it even over the summer!) and check out our Facebook group. We're also trying out Twitter, you can find us at @NkuNewmanClub.

About us

Our mission is to live out our Catholic faith on campus and provide a community where we support each other and help one another grow closer to Jesus.

Our new chapel!

Our new chapel!

During the Fall 2016 semester, we ran into an unusual dillema: we had a surge in membership, and we could no longer fit all of the members in our chapel for Mass every week! So during the winter break, several of us moved the chapel to a larger room in the basement of the Newman center.

The new chapel can support many more members and has the potential to be expanded further in the future.

What we do

Every Tuesday night, we learn about our faith through a student-led Bible study. We also celebrate Mass every Thursday night, followed by a meeting and dinner.

In addition, we host many other events throughout the year, such as Ash Wednesday Mass, movie nights, dances, and more!

Contact us

We'd love to hear from you! We're working on improving our communications; right now the best way to contact us is to send us an email at newmanclub@nku.edu or post in our Facebook group.
